New Stair Mural in the Middle School by Artist Veronica Farren

Veronica Farren is a talented Los Angeles-based muralist and artist who is enthusiastic about enriching the lives of students through her vibrant art. Veronica’s most recent project is a stunning staircase mural for Clairbourn School’s students. The design reflects the student body’s love of reading and displays 18 of their favorite books. The mural concept was inspired by the “Stairs of Knowledge” at Lebanon’s University of Balamand. Click here to read the full article.

Sugar Plum Was a Success!
Thank you to Livia Aryananda, Charis Alzona-Hsu and the Sugar Plum team for our Colonial Christmas in the Manor House and MPB. It was a great success! While enjoying a delicious breakfast, parents who attended Sugar Plum wrapped up Clairbourn's annual wooden ornament to be delivered to each student, teacher, and staff member.

Meanwhile in the MPB parents, teachers, and staff were invited to shop the many vendors selling cozy blankets, fun unicorn and slime toys, beautiful jewelry, artwork, and so much more! Many thanks go to our vendors Bhart Manwani and Diana Balmori, as well as 6th grade parent Nancy for their donation of 100% of their proceeds to the Sugar Plum event. We also thank vendors Ya Living, Heathmade, Gifted, India Hicks, Girl Scout Troop 7201, and Cissy Li who also benefited the school with their participation and portion of their sales. And of course thank you to all volunteers and parents, faculty, and staff for attending the event.

Used Uniform Sale

Come shop for used uniforms on Thursday, December 6 and Friday, December 7, before and after school. Cash, check, and credit cards are all accepted. There will be additional Used Uniform Sales in January and April.

Did your student win an award, learn a new skill, make something cool, have an adventure, or do a service project? We'd love to post it in the eCourier! Email Annie Conner at aconner@clairbourn.org with the details including a photo or video if you have one.

Bravo to our Fiddler Friday Performers!

Performing for last Friday's Morning Assembly were students Michelle X. (3rd grade), performing "Minuet #3" by Johann Sebastian Bach and Brian X. (6th grade) performing "Sonata in C" by Breval. These young violinists dedicate several hours of practice each week to hone their skills. We are very proud of their hard work, dedication, and talent!
