Save the Date for Fathers Visiting Day, October 24th
Fathers Visiting Day is Wednesday, October 24th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. This is a dress uniform
day and a half-day of school. Come to Morning Assembly, visit your child's classrooms, take your child/children to visit the Book Fair, and enjoy pastries, donuts, and coffee!
Early Learning S.T.E.M. Event
JPK, PK, and K parents, please join us for an evening of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! Your children have been working hard and are looking forward to sharing with you all that they have learned.
Retake Picture Day is on 10/15
Did your child miss picture day or do they need to retake their photo? Retake picture day is October 15th. If you still need to order your photos, please visit mylifetouch.com and enter picture ID MH018045Y0. If you have already ordered and need a retake, come to the MPB on October 15th following Morning Assembly and bring the photo packet you received from your child's teacher. That packet is your "ticket" for a retake.

at our Family Movie Night event starting at 6 pm, October 19th, following the Entrepreneurial Fair.

CFA Parent Meeting Oct. 16th
Join us Tuesday, October 16th, at 8:30 am in the Multi-Purpose Building.
We will welcome guest speaker, Mr. Paul Barker, Clairbourn's technology teacher who will speak about the varied technology
that is being used by our children in the classrooms
. We will also hear about the Tennis Social, Sugar Plum Breakfast, and the Auction.

Shop the Entrepreneurial Fair on Friday, October 19th
Clairbourn's 5th Annual Entrepreneurial Fair is coming up! Support our students and shop the fair on Friday, October 19th, from 4 to 6pm. Students will be selling items they created: art & crafts, inventions, baked goods, plants, etc. Questions? Contact Amber Pollard-Wilson.
Match Point! Save the Date for the Parent Tennis Social
The Tennis Social for parents is coming on Friday, Nov. 2nd, from 9am-12pm at the Altadena Town & Country Club. Tickets are $60 per person which includes a tennis clinic, lunch, prizes, music, & fun! No experience is necessary!
Special Lunch Ordering
Special Lunch is an important part of the CFA's fundraising. Special Lunch happens every Thursday and on the 1st and 2nd Tuesdays of each month. We kindly ask that you order at least 3 days prior to the lunch date to ensure your child will receive their special lunch.

How to Get Access
Parents, check your email to see if you received, on Wednesday 9/19, your sign-in email from Vidigami with a green button at the bottom to login to your new account. If you need a resend of your Vidigami invitation please email nward@clairbourn.org.
Desktop View
Interacting with Vidigami.com through a desktop computer will give you a large amount of features to interact with photos. (You will be able to login to the mobile app with the same username and login you use for the desktop app.)

We're Proud of Community Helpers, Jack P. and Carson P.
Jack P., in 6th grade, and Carson P., in 3rd grade, participated in a volunteer gardening day at the Eliot Arts Magnet Middle School in Altadena. The school's garden was in disrepair and needed care and attention from the community to help it revive. Jack and Carson have learned a lot about gardening from Clairbourn's on campus gardens, so they offered their helping hands to bring the Eliot garden back to life.
Middle School Drop Everything and Build Challenge Winners
Last week the middle school students participated in a Drop Everything and Build Engineering Challenge. Their goal was to build the tallest freestanding structure using a few note cards, paper clips, straws, a few pieces of paper, and masking tape. Each team was given 17 minutes to design and build their structure. There were a wide variety of strategies and design elements used throughout the middle school grades. The following teams had the tallest structures in their grade.
