School Information
Directory Listings & Privacy
Family Contact information is now only available digitally via your CougarNet account. We will not be printing a school Roster / Family Directory.
Viewing or Printing Directories:
- Log into your CougarNet account.
(see instructions at the end of this email)
- Hover over the "Directories" button and select either students, parents, staff, or CFA.
- Pick the directory you need. If you pick the student directory, choose your child's grade level. If you don't see it, expand the list.
- To print a copy, click the printer icon above the directory menu and select "print search results".
Your Privacy Settings: Each parent is now in charge of their own information level of privacy. Login to CougarNet to set your preferences and decide what you want people at school to see about you.
1. Click on your name in the top right.
2. Pick "Settings".
3. Look for the "Privacy" link on the far left menu.
4. Make a privacy setting choice:
You will have three choices - please select one in the CougarNet system:
--Do not include my name or any information about me in the directory.
(We DO NOT recommend this option as you will be invisible to the school - teachers, students, parents will not see you)
--Include my name but do not include any other information about me.
--Include my name and only the specific information selected below to those specific constituent types. (This is the RECOMMENDED choice. Be sure to expand each option below and indicate what type of information you want each group to see about you).

> Teacher
> Parent
> Alumni
> Coach
> Non-Teaching Staff
> Trustee
Parent Contact Card Updates:
Need to give us a new phone number, email, or address? Parents now have control over their own information record in CougarNet. Changes must be made by each individual parent by logging in and accessing the "Profile" link which will take them to their contact card. You can find it by clicking on your name in the top right corner of your screen and then choosing "Profile"). Click the pencil icon next to the information you want to change and then save your changes.Student Contact Card Updates:To change each student's contact card, login to your CougarNet account, then choose the "Children" link at the top left of your screen. Click on your Child's name and then look for the "Contact Card" tab and then enter your edits.
Notification Settings:
On the CougarNet "Notifications" page, parents MUST keep the Bulk Email option checked or they won't get the eCourier emails from the school with important weekly updates.
Meet Clairbourn's Newest Faculty and Staff
Assistant Head of School:
Mr. Kyron Millard has spent the past 17 years working in the independent school environment as an administrator, teacher and coach. He comes to us having served as a middle school director with experience in the high school counseling process. Read more here.
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher:
Mrs. Sayra Rubio brings to Clairbourn 10 years of teaching experience. She has an educational background in child development and Spanish and previously worked for the University of Southern California childcare program. Read more here.
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant:
Miss Lille Che has experience working as a Kindergarten, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade teacher assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics and is currently persuing her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and an Associate Degree in Child Development/Family Relations. Read more here.
Kindergarten Teacher Assistant:
Miss Cassie Steedman is a new college graduate from Principia College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Studies with a minor in Global Studies. She has several years experience working with young children as teacher's assistant and camp counselor. Read more here.
Ms. Lindsay Dezutter is new to Southern California. She has six years of experience teaching grades Kindergarten through Second Grade at QSI International Schools in Slovakia and Slovenia. She also worked for Federal Way Public Schools in Washington State. Read more here.
Mrs. Karen Roberts holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Occidental College. She is a passionate teacher who believes children deserve to have educators who believe that they are capable of anything. Read more here.
Marketing and Communications Assistant:
Mrs. Annie Conner is Clairbourn's new Communications and Marketing Assistant working closely with Communications Director, Nancy Ward. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art with an emphasis on Graphic Design. Additionally Mrs. Conner is an avid photographer. Read more here.
Administrative Assistant:
Mrs. Jeanette Zamora is Clairbourn's new Administrative Assistant. She is excited to work for Clairbourn where she can use her organizational and multi-tasking skills, her computer knowledge and language abilities, and also her design skills. Sign Up For After School Classes
Sign up deadline is Friday, August 31st. Classes start the week of September 3rd. Download desired class forms below and follow vendor instructions to register. See a Quarterly Calendar of the After-School Classes, including GAP Weeks and registration deadlines.
Daily Lunch: Sign Up Now
Clairbourn has partnered with Yum Club so you can order delicious lunches for your child delivered to school. Lunches will come from a variety of restaurants such as Boston Market, Margarita's, Sweet & Savory and many more!
Purchase School Uniforms
Online orders of uniforms won't arrive in time for the start of school, so instead, visit the Sears store on Foothill Blvd. in Pasadena. A Lands' End kiosk is inside. Bring this information sheet with you. It contains our school code #900030693. Also read the School Uniforms Requirements information sheet before you buy uniforms so you know what to purchase.

Parents: Come to Coffee in the Quad
The CFA welcomes all Clairbourn parents to join them on Thursday, August 30th at 8:30 am, following Morning Assembly for delicious refreshments.

Join us on Tuesday Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Building (MPB) to learn how you can get more out of your own Clairbourn experience by volunteering! Build your parent support system, showcase your skills, and experience Clairbourn traditions.
Clairbourn's Head of School, Dr. Patzlaff, will also join us to speak on the topic of "The Exciting New Year." Delicious refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!

Here is a quick back-to-school checklist to help make sure that you've got everything ready for the start of school. Did you buy your uniforms? Order special lunches? Set up your Cougar Corner Account? Mail in your forms? Double check the list.
Important Instructions to Access Clairbourn's New Website:
Log In to CougarNet With These 5 Steps:
(clairbourn.myschoolapp.com is CougarNet, Clairbourn's online portal for school forms, homework, grades, and more.)
3.The CougarNet login information you need will be sent in two emails.
--Check for the emails and enter your new username and password into the login screen at clairbourn.myschoolapp.com--Look in your SPAM or Junkmail folder in case you don't see the emails.
4.Take a moment to open your email software on your phone and computer and mark these three sender addresses as "safe" so you can get school emails without them being marked as SPAM or junkmail.
5.Now that you've fixed your email settings and picked up your login emails, return to the CougarNet site at clairbourn.myschoolapp.com. Use your new username and password to login.
