Information for Parents
Parents, Follow These Steps to Log In to CougarNet and Then Complete These 12 Important Tasks:
(clairbourn.myschoolapp.com is CougarNet, Clairbourn's online portal for school forms, homework, grades, and more.)
- Go to our CougarNet site clairbourn.myschoolapp.com.
- Click on "Forgot login or first time logging in?"
--Enter the email address you have on file with the school
--Be sure to check the boxes next to both Username and Password.
- The CougarNet login information you need will be sent in two emails.
--Check for the emails and enter your new username and password into the login screen at clairbourn.myschoolapp.com--Look in your SPAM or Junkmail folder in case you don't see the emails.
- Take a moment to open your email software on your phone and computer and mark these three sender addresses as "safe" so you can get school emails without them being marked as SPAM or junkmail.

- Now that you've fixed your email settings and picked up your login emails, return to the CougarNet site at clairbourn.myschoolapp.com. Use your new username and password to login. Once you login, look for the thin yellow banner message at the top of your screen announcing that you have several forms to complete.
--Click on that banner message to view the list and handle the required forms.
- The Magnus Health Portal forms are the most crucial to complete right away with your child's health records.
--Your student may not start school until these records are complete.
--The link to Magnus is located under the Resources tab in CougarNet.
- Take time now to complete the Magnus health forms.
--Returning families will just need to verify the information is still current.
--New families need their insurance, immunization records, and emergency contact information on hand to enter into the system.
- Read the new Parent-Student Handbook (heavily updated) and go over the changes with your child.
--The link to the handbook is located under the Resources tab in CougarNet.
- Locate the school calendar and subscribe to it.
--The button for the Calendar is located in the top right area of CougarNet's screen.
--To subscribe, look for a fan-shaped icon in the black bar of the calendar in the far right corner next to the print icon.
- Review the school uniform policy (strictly enforced this year)
- Sign up with YUMClub if you want to use this service for your child's lunches. Read sign up information here.
- Explore CougarNet to find the following key information
-Make sure you can find class pages (click on "Children" and choose a name).
-Make sure you can find the Parent-Student Handbook in the Resources Tab
-Locate the directories for students, parents, faculty, and the CFA in the top navigation bar (we are not printing directories this year)
-Locate the Clairbourn Families Association (CFA) page in the Groups section and especially explore the "Topics" tab.
How to Get Help or Translation Assistance:
If you would like help logging into CougarNet or Magnus account, the school computer lab will be open from 9a.m. to 3p.m. on Wednesday, August 29. Several people will be available to help you and Mandarin translation assistance will be provided.

Daily Lunch: Sign Up Now
Delicious Lunches Delivered to School
Clairbourn has partnered with Yum Club to provide a secure, fast, and easy-to-use online ordering system featuring delicious lunches from a wide variety of restaurants such as Boston Market, Margarita's, WhichWich, Mely's, Alta Burger, and Sweet & Savory-- just to name a few! Updated menus will post each quarter with new offerings. Yum Club will deliver lunch on the first day of school, Thursday, August 30th. Please use this form to sign up.
Sign-up For Milk Program
If you would like your child to receive milk with their daily lunch, use this form to sign up for our milk program. Return this form to the business office.
Food Allergy Notice
Several Clairbourn students have food related allergies or sensitivities, especially to peanuts and peanut-derived products. Please read this important notice to learn how you can assist in helping to provide a safe school environment for all.
Sign Up for After-School Daycare
After-School Daycare is offered for students in all grades. Please use this form to sign up. Return this form to the business office. The form and payment are due by August 24th.
Please note that program fees will be reduced for students enrolled in one or more of the After-School Enrichment Classes.
