The Future Growth of Clairbourn
Dear Clairbourn Family,
On behalf of our board of trustees and myself, I’m excited to announce the launch of our 2023- 24 Strategic Planning process. Strategic planning is an important practice that independent schools like ours undergo every few years. It helps us clarify our shared aspirations as a community and define the steps we need to take to achieve them. The process involves engaging with parents, students, faculty, staff, alumni and the board to develop a shared understanding of our school community today and to design a roadmap for our future. As we continue to Create Scholars and Leaders with Heart, it is key for us to build on the past 97 years as we plan the future growth of our school.
To assist us with this important work, we are collaborating with Mission & Data, a consulting firm that specializes in this field. They will engage in research and collect input from teams within our community to help us develop our strategic vision for our school’s future. Ultimately, Mission & Data will guide us in implementing that vision and tracking our progress.
Over the next months, we will be sending out updates and surveys as well as asking for volunteers to participate in focus groups. I hope you will join us in these efforts and help our school develop a strategic plan that will not only celebrate who we are but plan for who we will become. As always, please reach out if you have any questions about the strategic plan or how you can participate in the discussions.

Clairbourn Insights
Exploring a world of colors, one adventure at a time!
Our PK students had so much fun learning about RED! They colored and painted with red and sang songs about red. Little Cougars spelled the word red, made a red color collage and wore red. Students read many stories about Clifford the Big Red Dog and ended the week by dressing up as Clifford! What fun!
