From Head of School
Way to start the year strong, Cougars!
Dear Clairbourn Families,
We are almost finished with our second week of school and already the students are into a great routine. Parents are starting to get into a routine too. We have had fewer late students each day, so people are figuring out the traffic and when they need to leave to be safe and on time. Please be sure safety is the top priority! We have had reports of students being let out on Huntington in the traffic lane, and this is not safe! Please prioritize safety and plan on leaving earlier if you need to.
We have also had two weeks of students making new friends, trying new things, and pushing themselves to grow. We are off to a great start! I can't wait to see the continued growth and excitement as the students reach new levels in their understanding, skills, and compassion! Way to start the year strong, Cougars!

Middle School Pali Trip
Pali Trip is Next Week!
The middle school will depart on Wednesday, Sept. 14 after Morning Assembly and return to Clairbourn on Friday, Sept. 16 around 1 pm. This 3-day, 2-night team-building adventure trip in Running Springs gives our students many opportunities to try a variety of classes and activities that foster working together, critical thinking, building skills, and meeting challenges. They will be sleeping in cabins with
comfortable bunk beds, eating tasty food in a dining hall,
and exploring Pali's beautiful camp up in the mountains full of fresh air and pine trees.

Clairbourn Insights
Let's hear our kindergarteners' story!
On the first day of school, we read a story about the gingerbread man and decided to bake one! When the baking was complete, we discovered he was gone. We spent the rest of the week searching for our gingerbread man all around the campus, but all we could find were notes left by him. At last, we finally found him in our library! |
