Dear Clairbourn Families,
I am so excited to welcome everyone on campus next week. The entire faculty and staff have been meeting this week to prepare for your arrival. Let me tell you, I am inspired by the joy, enthusiasm, passion, and dedication in our community. Each and every one is ready to give of themselves to make this a fabulous, productive, and successful year for your children. I can't wait to see you all on Monday!

Tomorrow is the Preschool & Kindergarten Orientation
We can't wait to meet you at the preschool and kindergarten orientation tomorrow from 9am to 10am!
Children need to be dropped off at our Seiter Center preschool playground. We will meet the parents in classrooms:

The jr. pre-kindergarten (JPK), pre-kindergarten (PK), and kindergarten (K) orientation offers parents the opportunity to meet their child’s teacher and hear about the curriculum and planned class activities for the school year. All preschool and kindergarten students are welcome to come and play on the supervised playground while parents attend the orientation meetings in the classrooms.

Students should arrive at school by 8:00 am. They may arrive as early as 7:30 am and will be marked tardy starting at 8:05 am.

If you are unavailable to come to school for the test this Friday, you are responsible for getting a test over the weekend. You must show a negative result in order to start school on August 29. The following are the preferred times for each grade level to minimize the wait time, but you may come any time that is convenient for you.

After-School Daycare & Enrichment Classes
1. Parker-Anderson
Clairbourn partners with Parker-Anderson to offer after school care and preschool to 8th grade enrichment classes. Please check the flyers below:
Sign up online now with Parker-Anderson by August 25. Extended daycare will begin on Monday August 29. Questions about enrichment classes? Call Parker-Anderson at (818) 650-8676 or reach out to our after school coordinator Michelle Cogswell.
2. Lango Preschool After School Language Classes
JPK-K Lango Spanish and Mandarin enrichment classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday. Please email Lango or reach out to our after-school coordinator Michelle Cogswell for any questions.
3. Clairbourn JPK-K After-School Daycare
Enrollment for the Clairbourn After-School Daycare program 2022-23 is now open for JPK to K. The enrollment form is available on the Resource Page in CougarNet. For further assistance, please contact Nicole Wang in the Business Office.

Student Council
Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!
Student Council is looking forward to a wonderful year of fun activities, community building, and special events. As we start a new school year, we would first like to remind everyone to drink lots of water and get enough sleep. Self care is important. For every student who was here last year, please welcome all of our new students and help them fit in. Get to know them, help them with regular day-to-day activities they might not know about yet, and introduce them  to your friends. And for those of you who are new, don’t hesitate to ask a fellow classmate or teacher for help. Finally, remember the five values in our Clairbourn School Code of Ethics: honesty, respect, responsibility, spirituality, and citizenship. When we keep these values in mind, we are well on our way to becoming Scholars and Leaders With Heart.

Clairbourn Speech & Debate Club

Please enter all requested health information into your Magnus Health ASAP. All NEW families and current seventh grade and kindergarten students must submit their child’s immunization records to Nick Jubilado or upload directly into your Magnus account.
