Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving break is from November 25 - 29. There is no school during this week. School resumes on Monday, December 2.

Seventh Grade Operation Gratitude

Grade 7 students collected 7,787 pieces of Halloween candy estimated to weigh 200 pounds. The candy was donated to Operation Gratitude, an organization that sends items to service men and women around the globe. If one service person has two pieces of candy, then Clairbourn will have touched nearly 4,000 lives. Watch seventh grade's announcement during Morning Assembly in the video below.

Employees pre-select scrip gift cards they would like to receive, and families contribute toward the purchase of those cards. Gift cards are distributed directly to the employees. Use this link to view the list of teachers and choose amounts.

The deadline is Wednesday, December 4. Questions? Email Nancy Humphries or Tiffany Zhang

Support Holiday Giving For Charity

Thank you to the Clairbourn Community for taking each of the 100 angels.  Please remember that gifts should be brought in unwrapped with the angel ornament attached to the gift. We suggest buying a gift in the $20-$25 range chosen from the child's wish list on the back of the angel ornament. We will be receiving gifts in the afternoon by transportation, from 2:45 to 3:30 pm.

Your generosity will benefit the Foothill Community Unity Center, a charity serving homeless and low-income families in the San Gabriel Valley. All gift donations are due Friday, November 22.

“Clairbourn Around Town” Photo Contest – Ends Friday December 6, 2019!

Parents and students can participate! Take photos that have a “Clairbourn Theme” around town (not on campus!) and then upload them to the Photo Contest Folder in Vidigami.  You can borrow props from the school like cheerleader pom poms, head boppers, and foam fingers, or make cougar signs and wear your “Big C” Clairbourn T-shirts.  You can take the photos at home, but extra points will be given for taking pictures that include a recognizable location around the city in the background. The bigger spectacle you make with Clairbourn blue and gold spirit, the more points you get, and the more likely you are to win.  What are the prizes???  We are offering the winner their choice of a Mambe Outdoor Blanket in the 7x10 or 5x7 size OR a set of two of our new folding sports chairs.  There will be special prizes for the 2nd and 3rd place winners and runner-up positions.  Props can be borrowed from Nancy Ward nward@clairbourn.org or you can make your own props and signs.  Enter as many photos as you like to increase your chances of winning.
