Meet Our New Staff Member
Alum Noelle Shoemake is excited to return to Clairbourn as the new Marketing and Communications Assistant. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Mass Communications, bringing with her valuable experience in marketing, camera work, social media and graphic design. Noelle will be working with Director of Communications Nancy Ward to cover school events, create engaging content, and help spread the good news about the Clairbourn educational experience. She is thrilled to join the community and is looking forward to meeting everyone!

School News
School Start Time
School begins at 8:05 am. Daycare begins at 7:30 am, and the school officially opens the front gate at 7:30 am. Students who arrive through the front gate after 8:05am will be marked tardy. Tardies are tracked over the course of the year, and attendance for Grades 6-8 is part of the transcript sent to high schools. Please plan your schedules accordingly.
PE Uniforms Required
PE Uniforms are required on the first day of school for students in Grades 4-8. PE uniforms must be purchased from the same Lands' End site where uniforms are purchased. Please see the Uniform Requirements Document on the Resource Page on CougarNet or the Parent Student Handbook for more information.
First Day is Dress Uniform
The first day of school is a Dress Uniform Day. Please see the Uniform Requirements Document on the Resource Page on CougarNet or the Parent Student Handbook for more information.

School Reminders
JPK-K Orientation and Welcome Reception
The Jr. PreKindergarten (JPK), PreKindergarten (PK), and Kindergarten (K) Orientation Day offers parents the opportunity to meet their child’s teacher and hear about the curriculum and planned class activities for the school year. All Preschool and Kindergarten students are welcome to come and play on the supervised playground while parents attend the orientation meeting in the classrooms. The orientation will be followed by a Welcome Reception in the Seiter Center play yard where families will have the opportunity to meet one another and be greeted by members of the Clairbourn Families Association (CFA) who will answer questions about getting involved with the school community.

Daycare Updates
This year, Clairbourn will continue to offer after-school care options to our students who register and pay for the program. For students in JPK-K, please sign up by turning in this JPK-K flyer to Clairbourn and paying Clairbourn. For students in Grades 1-8, Parker-Anderson will be providing our after-school care on our campus. Parker-Anderson offers a great program for daycare, complete with snacks, activities, and time for homework. To sign up for their program held on our campus, please see the Grades 1-8 flyer and visit the Parker-Anderson website so you can register directly with them. Sign Up For After School Classes Now!

Register With Magnus Health Website
It is vital that the school has current health information about each child. All families must complete their Magnus Health Forms and submit your child’s immunization records before your child may attend school. This is a State Law. Students with incomplete health files will not be permitted on campus on the first day of school. Please check your email for an invitation or reminder from Magnus Health, register online, and provide the information. If you need help, please contact Nick Jubilado in the health office at njubilado@clairbourn.org, or at extension 117.

If Your Uniform Order is Late:
If your uniforms do not arrive in time, we will have a used uniform sale on Wednesday, August 28 (the day before school starts) from 9-11 am, as well as the first day of school, Thursday, August 29.
Sign Up For Milk Program
If you would like your child to receive milk with their daily lunch, use this Milk Form to sign up for our milk program. Return this form to the Business Office.
Food Allergy Notice
Several Clairbourn students have food
related allergies or sensitivities, especially to peanuts and peanut-derived products. Please read this Food Allergy Notice to learn how you can assist in helping to provide a safe school environment for all.

CFA Reminders
Special Lunch Ordering By August 23
Special Lunches need to be ordered by August 23. The CFA offers Special Lunch every Thursday and on the select Tuesdays each month. Not only will your kids love

Coffee in the Quad Parent Reception:
To welcome back both the new and returning parents, there will be a Coffee in the Quad reception on the first day of school, Thursday, August 29, right after Morning Assembly. Come meet and mingle with other parents!

Belen C. Honored As Team MVP
7th-grader Belen C.'s volleyball team, Crush Volleyball Club, crushed almost all the competition in their bid to compete in the USA Volleyball Girls' National Championship. Even though they fell short by one game, the team came back strong to win 1st place at the 11th Annual Summer Soiree for 12 & Under Division 1. Crush Volleyball Club ended the year in 14th place for Division 1, and Belen was named her team's MVP of the year.
